Best Lifting Cara Routine for a Sculpted Face

News 12/09/2024

Alright, alright, let’s talk about this… lifting cara thing, whatever you young folks call it. I ain’t no fancy expert, ya know? Just an old woman who’s seen a thing or two, and let me tell ya, faces droop. It’s just what happens, like a sack of potatoes left out in the sun too long. But I hear there’s ways to, you know, kinda perk things up a bit. Not talking about no doctor stuff, mind you, them needles and knives? Heck no, I ain’t got time for that mess.

So, what’s this “lifting cara” all about? Sounds like a bunch of hooey to me, but I guess it means making your face look, you know, better. Less saggy, maybe? Less like an old prune, more like a… well, a less wrinkly prune I guess.

They say you gotta massage your face. Yeah, rub it. Like you’re kneadin’ dough, but gentle like. I reckon it gets the blood flowin’ or somethin’. They say it “stimulates circulation.” Sounds fancy, but it just means gettin’ the blood movin’, right? Like when you slap your cheeks on a cold mornin’ to wake yourself up. Same kinda thing, I guess, but maybe not so rough.

  • You gotta rub upwards, they say. Don’t go pullin’ your face down, that ain’t gonna help nothin’. Gravity’s already doin’ enough of that, no need to help it along.
  • And somethin’ about “cheek lifters.” Sounds like somethin’ you’d buy at the hardware store, but no, it’s makin’ faces. You open your mouth all big, like you’re shoutin’ at the chickens, then you smile real big, then you put your fingers here, on your cheeks… it’s all a bit much if you ask me.
  • Then there’s somethin’ about your eyebrows. Them brows, they droop too. Makes your eyes look all sad and tired. They say you gotta lift them up too. I just raise mine when I’m surprised. Does the trick.

I seen some young girls, they got all sorts of creams and lotions and whatnots. Special stuff for oily faces, they say. And they got cleansers and toners and… Lord have mercy, it’s enough to make your head spin. They spend a fortune on all this goop. Me? I just wash my face with plain old soap and water. Hasn’t killed me yet.

I reckon eatin’ good helps too. Not all that sugary stuff the kids eat these days. Good, plain food. Vegetables and meat. And gettin’ enough sleep. That’s important. You look like a wrung-out dishrag if you don’t get enough sleep. And drinkin’ plenty of water. Gotta keep yourself hydrated, like a good ol’ garden in the summer.

This “facial exercise” stuff… well, I guess it can’t hurt none. Maybe it works, maybe it don’t. I ain’t gonna be doin’ no crazy face yoga or whatever they call it. But a little rubbin’ and smilin’ ain’t gonna hurt nobody. And maybe, just maybe, it’ll keep this old face from lookin’ too much like a dried-up apple.

You young folks, you worry too much about how you look. Live a good life, be kind to people, and that’ll make you shine more than any fancy cream or face rub ever could. But hey, if you wanna rub your face, go ahead. Just don’t go pullin’ it too hard, you might end up lookin’ worse than you started!

And another thing, don’t be fooled by all them fancy words and promises. Natural is best, I always say. Plenty of sunshine, fresh air and hard work will keep you young. Just like me! Well maybe not young, but healthy.

This facial massage thing may help some, I don’t know. Just be careful not to fall for every trick in the book. Them youngsters are always trying to sell you something. Just stick to what your grandma told you, and you’ll be alright.

Facial exercises? Jawline sharper? Plumper lips? Hmph, sounds like a bunch of baloney to me. But if it makes you happy, go for it. Just don’t expect miracles. The only miracle is that I’m still alive at my age, ha!

Anyway, that’s all I gotta say about this “lifting cara” business. Do what you want, but don’t go expectin’ me to be doin’ no face acrobatics. I got better things to do, like feedin’ my chickens and tendin’ my garden. Now get outta here and let me get back to my work.
